About Emma.

Emma Rabbitt, RYT-200, NASM-CPT, HAES(r), is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor who has studied trauma-informed yoga & meditation methods. As an NCAA-accredited NASM certified personal trainer, they work with adult athletes including cyclists, runners, and Ultimate Frisbee players with limitations such as back pain, lung capacity, muscular imbalance, and mobility. As a member and strong believer in Health At Every Size(r) (HAES), they approach each client with a holistic and inclusive view of health.

They are the founder and teacher of Gender Benders, a class for queer teens ages 11-18. They believe in yoga's powerful abilities to heal trauma, and uses yoga & play to support the emotional needs of the next generation of the queer community.

Emma is a proud member and administrator for the Southern Yoga Therapy Association. They also provide administrative support to Centering Youth, an NIH-funded nonprofit that brings yoga to Georgia’s prisons and detention centers.

Emma received their yoga teacher training with the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies under Holle Black and Marlysa Sullivan. They received their certified personal trainer education from the NCCA-accredited National Academy of Sports Medicine.

When not riding bikes or practicing yoga, Emma enjoys watching films with spouse Robert and snuggling with their pet dog Rio.
